Does NIO have hybrid models?

NIO's currently available main products include the NIO ES8, NIO ES6, and NIO EC6, all of which are pure electric models. The company has not yet released any hybrid models. Hybrid vehicles can also be divided into different types, namely plug-in hybrids and conventional hybrids. Conventional hybrid models: These models can be used normally as long as they are refueled on time, just like traditional fuel vehicles. The disadvantages are that they do not qualify for new energy subsidies and cannot obtain new energy license plates. They are also more expensive than pure electric models. Plug-in hybrid models: These vehicles have two power sources—fuel and charging. In pure electric mode, the battery can sustain a range of about 80 to 100 kilometers, making it suitable for short commutes. When the battery is low, they can rely on fuel for power, just like conventional fuel vehicles. The downside is higher fuel consumption in fuel mode. However, they qualify for new energy license plates and subsidies. Pure electric vehicles: These rely solely on battery-stored electricity, so they require more time for charging. While energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, their usage range is somewhat limited, making them more suitable for urban environments. They qualify for new energy license plates and subsidies. Main drawbacks: Battery replacement is expensive, range is relatively limited, and the charging network is not widely distributed, which restricts their usage scope.
