Does manual transmission have hill start assist?

Manual transmission has hill start assist. Working principle of hill start assist: To prevent difficulty in starting on a slope, the hill start assist control temporarily applies brakes to all four wheels (for up to 3 seconds) to prevent the vehicle from rolling backward. The procedure is: first hold the brake on a slope and shift to neutral - the car remains stationary on the slope. Then fully depress the clutch, shift to first gear, and release the brake - the car will automatically maintain braking for 2 seconds without rolling back. Function of hill start assist system: The hill start assist system is a function derived from the ESP system. It allows the vehicle to remain braked for several seconds after releasing the brake pedal when starting on a slope without using the handbrake. This enables the driver to smoothly transition their foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal, preventing rollback accidents. The hill start assist activates when these conditions are met: gearshift not in P position (for automatic transmission), accelerator pedal not depressed, vehicle stationary, parking brake not engaged, etc.
