Does Insurance Cover Water-Damaged Vehicles in Zhengzhou?

Insurance companies will compensate for vehicles with commercial insurance (vehicle damage insurance), but if the vehicle is restarted after stalling in water, it is not covered by insurance. Relevant regulations are as follows: Article 6, Section (4) stipulates that direct losses of the insured vehicle caused by lightning, storms, heavy rain, floods, tornadoes, hail, typhoons, or tropical storms, which are not within the scope of the insurer's exemption of liability, shall be compensated by the insurer according to the terms of the insurance contract; Article 10, Section (8) stipulates that the insurer is not responsible for compensating engine damage caused by water ingress. Note: Vehicles without commercial insurance (vehicle damage insurance) will not be compensated; vehicles without normal annual inspection or overdue inspection will not be compensated; vehicles that are restarted after stalling in water or moved without authorization will not be compensated.
