Does exposed primer on a car need immediate treatment?

In direct vehicle scratches, the primer and body are usually damaged. However, for minor scratches caused by small branches that only affect the outer paint layer, immediate treatment is generally not necessary. This is because there is still a layer of primer protecting the car body, and such scratches are often barely noticeable, not affecting the vehicle's appearance. Additional information: Car doors are mostly made of steel plates, aluminum, magnesium, titanium and other light/heavy metals and their alloys. When the primer is exposed, the door material loses its protective layer, making it vulnerable to environmental factors like rain and windblown sand, which can affect its service life.
