Does ETC require Bluetooth connection?

ETC does not require Bluetooth connection. The ETC assistant's passage through toll gates is largely unrelated to whether Bluetooth is turned on or not, because ETC itself comes with frequency emission and connects with the toll gate via radio frequency. The ETC Bluetooth switch is only used during ETC device activation or when recharging the ETC balance. When passing through ETC toll stations, it will automatically sense without the need to keep Bluetooth on all the time. The ETC device uses solar charging, and it is recommended to charge the ETC once every two months if it is not used for a long time. If the ETC device becomes loose, falls off, or is self-disassembled (OBU device), it may cause the ETC electronic tag to become invalid. In such cases, it can be sent to an ETC service center or ETC processing center for inspection. If the loosening or falling is not due to human factors, it can be reactivated through ETV to resume usage.
