Does ECO Mode Harm the Car?
1 Answers
ECO mode does not harm the car. ECO refers to the energy-saving mode, whose principle is to comprehensively evaluate the automatic transmission gear, engine speed, and transmission oil temperature during vehicle operation, controlling the engine speed with appropriate gears, and calculating the fuel amount provided to the engine for work by the computer. Situations where ECO mode does not function: 1. When the vehicle speed exceeds 120 km/h, the energy-saving mode automatically deactivates; 2. When idling in park or in N, P gears, or in manual mode; 3. When overcoming certain resistance and requiring high torque output, the ECU prioritizes ensuring sufficient power to drive the vehicle, and ECO does not work.
