Auto start-stop does not damage the car because this technology utilizes hot starts. When the vehicle temporarily stops for short periods, the engine shuts off while still maintaining high temperature. At this stage, the engine oil has lower viscosity and better fluidity, causing no harm to the vehicle. Even during cold starts, the auto start-stop system won't damage the car. The auto start-stop system automatically turns off the engine during temporary stops while driving, and restarts it when needed to continue moving. This is achieved by equipping traditional engines with enhanced motors featuring idle start-stop functionality, allowing complete engine shutdown when idle stop conditions are met. When the vehicle needs to move again, the idle start-stop motor system quickly responds to the driver's command, enabling rapid engine restart with seamless transition, significantly reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
