Does Auto Hold Require Shifting to Neutral?

Auto Hold does not require shifting to neutral; you can keep the gear in D (Drive). The Auto Hold button is located on the car's center console, and in some models, it is placed next to the electronic parking brake. To use this function, the driver needs to manually activate it. Each time the brake is pressed and the car comes to a complete stop, an indicator light will illuminate on the dashboard. When the light is on, you can release the brake pedal, and the system will automatically assist in maintaining the brake. To deactivate the Auto Hold function, simply press the brake pedal lightly. For cars frequently driven in urban areas, this feature is quite convenient.
