Does Adding a License Affect a Long-Term Driver's License?

Adding a license can affect a long-term driver's license. If you hold a C1 driver's license and apply to add a motorcycle license, it will not affect the seniority of the C1 license or the renewal of a long-term driver's license. However, if you apply to add a B-class license or above to your C1 license, it will directly impact the seniority of your driver's license. Below are the requirements for adding different types of driver's licenses: Conditions for adding an A1 driver's license: You must have held an A2 license for at least 1 year, or a B1/A3 license for at least 2 years, or a B2 license for at least 3 years, with no record of accumulating 12 penalty points in the most recent scoring cycle, to directly add an A1 driver's license. Conditions for adding an A2 driver's license: You must have held an A1 license for at least 1 year, or a B1/B2 license for at least 2 years, with no record of accumulating 12 penalty points in the most recent scoring cycle, to directly add an A2 driver's license. Conditions for adding an A3 driver's license: You can directly apply for the A3 license without needing to add it to an existing license. Alternatively, you can add an A3 license if you have held any driver's license for at least 1 year with no record of accumulating 12 penalty points.
