Does a truck crane belong to special equipment?

A truck crane does not belong to special equipment. Since 2015, the newly adjusted "Special Equipment Catalog" by the National Technical Supervision Bureau has not included truck cranes, meaning they are no longer managed as special equipment. Introduction to Truck Cranes: A truck crane, also known as a mobile crane, is a type of crane mounted on a standard truck chassis or a specially designed truck chassis. It features separate cabins for driving and crane operation. The advantage of this crane is its excellent mobility and quick relocation. The drawbacks include the need to deploy outriggers during operation, inability to carry loads while moving, and unsuitability for working on soft or muddy ground. Precautions for Truck Cranes: As a frequently used lifting machine in construction projects, truck cranes involve numerous risk points during operation and are prone to lifting accidents, making them a key focus in construction safety management. Truck cranes are equipped with many safety accessories, which are typically inspected periodically by special equipment inspection departments. Safety engineers only conduct general surface inspections of these accessories during acceptance checks, and as they are not professional inspection technicians, they cannot guarantee the safety of the truck crane.
