Does a newly purchased used car need an annual inspection?

Vehicle annual inspection has nothing to do with whether it is a used car or not, just follow the normal annual inspection procedure for the vehicle itself. Below is more information about annual inspection: 1. Inspection types: According to the definition in RB/T218-2017 "Requirements for Qualification Assessment of Inspection Bodies - Motor Vehicle Inspection Institutions", motor vehicle inspections include: motor vehicle safety technical inspection, motor vehicle emission inspection, and comprehensive performance inspection of motor vehicles. 2. Time: For passenger cars and blue-license minivans, within the first six years after new vehicle registration, inspection is required every two years; after six years, annual inspection is required; after ten years, inspection is required once a year, and after fifteen years, inspection is required twice a year. For trucks, annual inspection is required after registration, and after ten years, inspection is required twice a year. 3. Penalties for not having an annual inspection: If a vehicle is found by traffic police on the road without an annual inspection, the owner will be fined or the vehicle will be impounded. At the same time, in insurance contracts, vehicles that have not been inspected in time are considered unqualified vehicles, and once a car insurance accident occurs, no claims will be paid.
