Engine exhaust valve failure affects the engine. The impacts of a faulty exhaust valve include: Inability to control the exhaust gas recirculation volume, excessive exhaust gas participating in recirculation, affecting the mixture concentration, which may lead to difficult starting, engine shaking, unstable idling, weak acceleration, and overall impact on engine performance; causing the car to burn oil and emit blue smoke from the exhaust pipe. The exhaust valve serves the function of oil-gas separation. Under normal operation, it only draws exhaust gas without sucking oil. When the exhaust valve is damaged, it loses its oil-gas separation function, potentially drawing oil along with air into the combustion chamber, resulting in oil burning and blue smoke emission. Causes of exhaust valve damage: Poor quality of the exhaust valve itself; improper maintenance; fuel quality issues; aging of the exhaust valve.
