Do You Need to Press the AC Button When Turning on the Heater?

Turning on the heater does not require pressing the AC button. The AC button is the switch for the car air conditioning's cooling function. When this button is pressed, the air conditioning compressor activates, blowing cold air. Drivers can turn off the AC button during startup or rapid acceleration because the air conditioning compressor is driven by the engine and consumes some of the engine's power. Turning off the AC button can prevent insufficient engine power. The correct method for turning on the heater is to first warm up the engine. Once the engine's coolant temperature rises, turn on the heater and set the air conditioning to external circulation. After about 3 minutes, when the cold air inside the car has been expelled, switch to internal circulation to quickly raise the temperature inside the car.
