Do traffic police check vehicles on Saturdays and Sundays?

Traffic police also conduct vehicle checks on Saturdays and Sundays. Generally, the traffic police brigade works on weekdays, from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays, only on-duty personnel are working, and the business departments are off. The traffic police brigade, like the vehicle management office, belongs to the traffic police brigade headquarters. It consists of the traffic police command system, publicity department, legal department, technology department, logistics management office, political department, discipline department, supervision department, road duty brigade, highway brigade, traffic violation handling, and accident handling units, among others. Since the traffic police brigade is also part of the public service unit, the traffic violation handling and accident resolution departments, which are relatively busy, are off on weekends. Therefore, traffic violations cannot be resolved on weekends. However, the duty brigade and road brigade continue to work on Saturdays and Sundays to maintain traffic order.
