Do LED headlights require ballasts?

LED headlights do not require ballasts, as their working principle differs from xenon lamps and they have different starting methods, thus avoiding issues like high-voltage breakdown. However, each LED light is equipped with a power driver. LED car lights refer to vehicle lamps that use LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) as the light source. Due to their characteristics of high brightness, rich color variety, low power consumption, and long lifespan, LEDs are widely used in the automotive field. Car headlights, also known as automotive front lights or LED daytime running lights, serve as the "eyes" of a vehicle. They not only relate to the external image of a car owner but are also closely linked to safe driving during nighttime or adverse weather conditions.
