Do I still need to display the annual inspection sticker under the new traffic regulations?

Under the new traffic regulations, the display of annual inspection stickers is required. Starting from March 2020, many cities began piloting the electronic version of the motor vehicle inspection qualification mark, eliminating the paper sticker and replacing it with an electronic certificate that can be downloaded online. This does not mean that the annual inspection sticker can be omitted in all regions; it still needs to be displayed, but it can be checked electronically. For vehicles under 6 years old, it is necessary to apply for the annual inspection sticker at the vehicle management office every two years, or you can apply for it online yourself. For vehicles over 6 years old, the inspection sticker must be obtained after each annual inspection. For older vehicles over 15 years, a semi-annual inspection is required to ensure the vehicle meets road standards.
