Theoretically, whether you pass or fail the Subject 2 exam, you need to sign the score sheet for confirmation (electronic score sheets can also be signed). However, in practice, it usually doesn't matter even if you don't sign, as the score will still be recorded and uploaded. Just to be safe, it's best to sign and confirm your score after each exam. Signing the score sheet doesn't mean you've passed the exam. Theoretically, you need to collect the score sheet and sign it regardless of whether you pass or fail. In practice, many candidates who know they've failed don't collect the score sheet to sign but leave the exam site directly. The score sheet records the candidate's exam results, so checking your score will let you know whether you've passed. If you fail the Subject 2 exam on the first attempt, you can retake it once. If you don't take the retest or still fail the retest, the exam ends, and the applicant should reschedule the exam after ten days. Within the validity period of the driving skill test permit, the number of scheduled exams for Subject 2 and Subject 3 road driving skills tests must not exceed five. If you still fail the fifth scheduled exam, the results of other subjects you've passed will be invalidated.

What's the reason for abnormal noise when starting but the engine won't ignite?

Vehicle starting with clicking sound but failing to ignite may be caused by insufficient battery power or inadequate battery voltage. Below is relevant information about vehicle starting: 1. Precautions: Cold starts require engine warm-up, with warm-up time depending on temperature - generally wait until idle returns to normal before driving. Always remember to fasten seat belts and check if driver's seat and rearview mirror positions are appropriate, adjusting if necessary. 2. Techniques: Before starting, wait about 5 seconds to allow the vehicle computer to complete checks, then start. After starting, the RPM will be around 2500, then gradually drop to normal 800 RPM after some time - this occurs because cold engines have higher idle speeds which normalize after warming up.

When is it suitable to use the S gear in a car?

It is generally suitable to engage the S gear when climbing slopes or quickly overtaking. Here are the specific details: 1. Introduction: The S gear is the sports mode of a car, the sports gear. In this sports mode, the power is greater, and the engine maintains high-speed operation. You can engage this gear when pursuing speed, but fuel consumption will also increase. 2. Advantages: When the S gear is engaged, the car can shift gears freely. 3. Disadvantages: Although engaging the S gear is convenient, it is best not to use it frequently in daily driving. Frequent use of the S gear can seriously affect the lifespan of the transmission.

Why Does a Car's Paint Naturally Peel Off?

There are many reasons for paint peeling, mainly falling into three categories: 1. Impact: Paint peeling caused by scratches or collisions; 2. Spraying Quality: Paint peeling due to issues during the spraying process, such as low-temperature painting, expired paint, excessive dust on the car body surface, overly thick paint film, poor primer quality, or problems with putty quality, among others; 3. Body Panel Quality: Issues with the quality of the body panels themselves. For example, high levels of sulfur, phosphorus, or other impurities in the body's sheet metal can lead to electrochemical corrosion, causing rust in the internal sheet metal of many new cars within about 3 years. There are numerous causes of paint peeling, including excessive car washing and prolonged exposure to UV rays, which are also significant factors.

What precious metals are inside a three-way catalytic converter?

Three-way catalytic converters contain platinum (Pt), rhodium (Rh), and palladium (Pd). Below is a detailed introduction to three-way catalytic converters: 1. Origin of the name "three-way catalytic converter": There are three harmful substances in engine exhaust emissions. The three-way catalytic converter filters and converts these three harmful substances into harmless substances before they are discharged from the vehicle. This is why it is called a three-way catalytic converter. It is an essential component for every motor vehicle, and vehicles without it cannot function properly. 2. Maintenance considerations: After prolonged use, the three-way catalytic converter in motor vehicles may become clogged. Timely and effective cleaning can extend its lifespan and prevent failure, which could lead to excessive exhaust emissions and failure to pass annual inspection procedures.

What brand is the Tokico caliper?

Tokico calipers are a brand of Tokico from Japan. Below is an introduction to calipers: 1. Brake calipers: When the brake is applied, the caliper clamps the brake pads to achieve the braking effect. The more pistons a car caliper has, the greater, more stable, and smoother the braking force. 2. Working principle: It mainly uses pistons to clamp the brake disc with the brake pads. Most ordinary cars use single-piston calipers, while sports sedans and performance cars are upgraded to dual-piston calipers for better braking performance. Calipers with four or more pistons are commonly referred to as "big brake kits" (commonly known as "Brembo" in some regions), with typical examples being the Evolution and WRX STI series.

What Causes Shock Absorber Noise?

The causes of shock absorber noise include shock absorber oil leakage and aging of the top mount thrust bearing. Below are the specific reasons for shock absorber noise: Shock absorber oil leakage: When a shock absorber leaks oil, the interior of the shock tube cannot be effectively lubricated, resulting in significant friction noise during operation. Aging of the top mount thrust bearing: The thrust bearing is located in the engine compartment. Open the hood and press down on the vehicle body to listen if the noise is coming from the shock absorber top mount. If so, it is likely due to aging of the thrust bearing. If the shock absorber spring is deformed or broken, the only solution is to replace the entire shock absorber spring.
