Do I need to replace the entire taillight if the lens is broken?

If the taillight lens is broken on an integrated automotive taillight unit, it cannot be replaced separately - the entire assembly must be replaced. For non-integrated taillights, the lens can be replaced individually. Automotive taillights are red-colored lighting devices mounted at the rear of vehicles, serving to warn following vehicles, provide turn signal indications, and offer auxiliary visibility. If a headlight lens cracks, immediate replacement is necessary. Failure to replace it will compromise the headlight's seal, leading to internal condensation that affects illumination performance. During rainy conditions, water ingress may occur and potentially cause electrical short circuits.
