Do I need to pull the electronic handbrake after turning off the engine?

The electronic handbrake needs to be engaged after turning off the engine. The working principle of the electronic handbrake is the same as that of the mechanical handbrake, both achieving parking braking through friction between the brake disc and brake pads. The difference between the two lies in the operation method, which changes from a mechanical handbrake lever to an electronic button. There are two types of electronic handbrake buttons: one is a pure button type, and the other is the same type as the button used to control the window lift. The method of using the electronic handbrake is: 1. When starting, press the foot brake and press the electronic handbrake switch until the indicator lights on the dashboard and the electronic handbrake switch light up; 2. When turning off, press the brake and press the electronic handbrake button until the indicator lights on the dashboard and the electronic handbrake switch go out.
