Do I need to check the left turn traffic light when making a U-turn?

When making a U-turn, you need to follow the left turn traffic light signal and can only make the U-turn when the left turn signal is green. Additional information: At intersections without non-motor vehicle or pedestrian crossing signals, non-motor vehicles and pedestrians should follow the motor vehicle traffic light signals. When the red light is on, right-turning vehicles can proceed provided they do not obstruct the passage of other vehicles or pedestrians. Article 38 of the "Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China" states the following for motor vehicle and non-motor vehicle traffic lights: 1. When the green light is on: vehicles are allowed to proceed, but turning vehicles must not obstruct the passage of straight-moving vehicles or pedestrians; 2. When the yellow light is on: vehicles that have already crossed the stop line may continue to proceed; 3. When the red light is on: vehicles are prohibited from proceeding.
