Do Electric Vehicles Have Exhaust Pipes?

Do electric vehicles have exhaust pipes? Common exhaust pipe faults in electric vehicles: Symptom: During driving, the muffler exhibits backfiring. During a stationary inspection, when removing the high-voltage main ignition wire from the ignition coil and testing the spark at a distance of 34mm from the cylinder block, sparking is normal when adjusting the distributor contact points or rotating the crankshaft. The distributor contact points show signs of burning. After sanding the contacts and adjusting the gap to 0.35-0.45mm, the engine starts and runs normally. However, after driving, the muffler starts backfiring again. Inspection and Troubleshooting: Checking the ignition sequence, distributor contact arm spring force, ignition timing, and spark plugs revealed no issues. Further inspection of the carburetor air filter and valve clearance also yielded no results.
