Do China V vehicles have particulate filters?

China V vehicles have particulate filters. Introduction to particulate filters: It is a ceramic filter installed in the diesel engine emission system, which can capture particulate emissions before they enter the atmosphere. The upgrade from China V to China VI is not just about catalytic reduction of exhaust gases; it also requires the installation of a device called a particulate filter to reduce particulate emissions. Different types of fuel require different types of particulate filters. Diesel vehicles are equipped with DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), while gasoline vehicles are equipped with GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter). Working principle: For example, the diesel particulate filter is coated with metals such as platinum, rhodium, and palladium. The black smoke containing carbon particles emitted by the diesel engine enters the engine exhaust particulate trap through a dedicated pipeline. After passing through the densely arranged bag filters inside, the carbon particles are adsorbed on a filter made of metal fiber felt. When the amount of adsorbed particles reaches a certain level, the burner at the end automatically ignites and burns, converting the adsorbed carbon particles into harmless carbon dioxide that is then released.
