Do Children Count as Overloading?

According to traffic regulations, regardless of age, children are considered as overloading. For passenger vehicles other than commercial vehicles (excluding buses) and school buses, overloading by less than 20% will result in a 3-point penalty; overloading by more than 20% will result in a 6-point penalty. The dangers of vehicle overloading include the following three points: 1. Overloading affects the vehicle's suspension and tires, reducing braking performance. 2. Overloaded passengers cannot wear seat belts, and in the event of an accident, the consequences could be severe. 3. Children held in adults' arms are at even greater risk; in a collision, the child could be thrown out due to inertia, causing multiple injuries.
