Do cars still need to display annual inspection stickers?

Currently, cars are required to display annual inspection stickers. According to the regulations on the application and use of motor vehicle driving licenses, failure to affix the annual inspection sticker on the windshield will not result in a fine but may lead to point deductions. The Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that all vehicles on the road must display the annual inspection sticker in a prominent position on the upper right corner of the front windshield. In addition to the annual inspection sticker, environmental protection and insurance stickers must also be affixed. Non-compliance with these regulations may result in fines. Vehicles without the annual inspection sticker are not permitted on the road. It should also be noted that while insurance stickers are now electronic and optional, the annual inspection sticker remains mandatory.
