7-seater and above vehicles are not exempt from inspection, hence they require on-site inspection every 2 years. According to the "Opinions on Strengthening and Improving Motor Vehicle Inspection Work": Starting from September 1, 2014, a 6-year exemption policy was implemented for non-commercial passenger cars and other small and mini passenger vehicles (excluding vans, 7-seater and above vehicles) within 6 years of initial registration. Relevant information about vehicle annual inspection is as follows: 1. Introduction: Vehicle annual inspection refers to mandatory testing for all vehicles that have obtained formal license plates and registration certificates, equivalent to an annual physical examination for vehicles conducted according to the "Safety Technical Conditions for Motor Vehicle Operation". 2. Purpose: Vehicle annual inspection can promptly eliminate potential safety hazards, urge enhanced vehicle maintenance, and reduce traffic accidents.

Where is the diagnostic connector for the Citroën C5?

The diagnostic connector for the Citroën C5 is located inside the armrest (central storage box). Open the armrest to find a rectangular black cover; removing it will reveal the connector. The vehicle diagnostic tool connects to the car via this diagnostic port. Using the tool's operating system and built-in software compatible with the car model, it reads vehicle data. By cross-referencing fault codes and leveraging experience, it accurately identifies the fault and its specifics. The Citroën C5 is a mid-size sedan with dimensions of 4825mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1480mm in height, featuring a wheelbase of 2815mm. It employs a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension.

What are the functions of engine cleaners and protectants?

Cleaners and protectants serve different purposes: one removes dirt and contaminants for expulsion, while the other forms a protective film. However, both functions can be achieved by engine oil alone. One of the primary roles of engine oil is to clean the internal components of the engine, thereby reducing wear on various parts. Protecting the Engine: Engine cleaners primarily target sludge removal in the crankcase, whereas engine protectants enhance the oil's anti-wear properties and inhibit sludge formation. Consequently, manufacturers often bundle these two products for sale. The process involves adding the cleaner to old oil before an oil change for cleaning, draining the old oil, refilling with fresh oil, and finally adding the protectant to establish engine protection. Base Oils: Base oils are categorized into three types: mineral oil, semi-synthetic oil, and full synthetic oil.

What Causes Abnormal Engine Speed Signal?

Abnormal engine speed signal can be caused by the following reasons: Dirty Idle Speed Control Valve: This phenomenon is relatively common in electronic fuel injection vehicles, usually caused by a dirty (or damaged) idle speed control valve. When this occurs, it is recommended to clean the engine's idle speed control valve and carefully check whether the throttle valve is functioning properly or if there is any sticking due to excessive dirt. Incorrect Temperature Sensor Signal: An incorrect coolant temperature sensor signal can lead to an increase in idle speed. Due to intermittent faults in the coolant temperature sensor, it may transmit a coolant temperature far below the actual temperature, causing the control unit to mistakenly believe the engine is operating at a low temperature. This results in excessive air intake and fuel injection, leading to an abnormal increase in idle speed, which can exceed 2000r/min.

What Causes Engine Shaking and Exhaust Pipe Abnormal Noise?

Engine shaking and exhaust pipe abnormal noise can be attributed to the following reasons: Engine Misfire: Engine misfire primarily refers to one or more cylinders in the engine not functioning properly. Common symptoms include: intermittent exhaust gas flow from the vehicle, severe shaking of the exhaust pipe, and clear audible sounds from the engine such as "popping" or "thumping" noises. This phenomenon is often closely related to ignition coil failure. Overly Rich Air-Fuel Mixture: When the engine's air-fuel mixture is too rich, the symptoms include: difficulty starting the engine; poor acceleration after starting, uneven engine operation; black smoke from the exhaust pipe accompanied by popping sounds from the engine, sometimes even backfiring; decreased engine power and increased fuel consumption. These issues are mostly related to carbon buildup, clogged filters, etc.

Which car has the hazard light switch in the middle of the air vent?

There are many models, such as the Volkswagen Lamando, New Santana, Lavida, Gran Lavida, Cross Lavida, New Passat, Tiguan, Touran, New Jetta, Bora, Golf, Sagitar, etc., all feature this design. Introduction to the hazard light switch: The hazard warning flasher, commonly referred to as the 'double flash', is a signal light used to alert other vehicles and pedestrians that the vehicle is experiencing a special situation. When to turn it on: The hazard lights should be activated in the following situations: when the vehicle breaks down, when there is a breakdown on the highway, when towing a faulty vehicle, when transporting critically ill patients, when encountering an emergency while driving, when temporarily parked on the road, when involved in a traffic accident, when reversing or making a U-turn, when a driving school car is practicing, and when performing special tasks.
