Difference Between Motorcycle EFI and Direct Injection?

The differences between motorcycle EFI and direct injection are as follows: Different fuel injection methods: The EFI system of an engine consists of three major components: the fuel injection circuit, sensor group, and electronic control unit. The injector is installed in place of the original carburetor, representing a single fuel injection point in the engine. If the injector is located on the intake pipe of the cylinder, fuel is injected into the cylinder from multiple locations, hence EFI is divided into single-point EFI and multi-point EFI. Direct injection involves placing the fuel injector inside the cylinder, where fuel is injected directly into the cylinder under high pressure and then ignited together with the air-fuel mixture.
