Causes of Unstable Idle and Easy Stalling

There are several reasons for unstable idle and easy stalling: 1. Air intake system leakage. 2. Fuel pressure too low. 3. Air filter clogged. 4. Fuel injector atomization leakage. 5. Spark plug malfunction. 6. Air flow meter failure. Below is additional information: 1. The normal idle speed of an EFI engine is determined by the idle control valve. The ECU calculates signals such as engine speed, temperature, throttle switch, and air conditioning switch, then adjusts the idle control valve to open the intake bypass channel or directly increase the throttle opening to boost air intake and raise the engine idle speed. 2. Normally, air intake must be strictly controlled. If there's an intake pipe leak, the air flow sensor cannot measure the true air intake, causing the ECU to inaccurately control the air intake and resulting in unstable engine idle.
