Can you turn right on a straight-right turn lane when the light is red? According to the relevant regulations in the Implementation Regulations of the Road Traffic Safety Law: When the red light is on, right-turning vehicles can proceed provided they do not hinder the passage of vehicles and pedestrians that have been given the right of way. If the rightmost lane is occupied by vehicles going straight, you cannot turn right from the rightmost non-motorized lane. If the red light signal ahead consists of two sets and is a circular signal, you can turn right directly; if the red light signal ahead consists of three sets and is a circular signal with lane-specific control, you cannot turn right directly; if the red light signal ahead consists of three sets and is an arrow-shaped signal, you cannot turn right directly.
