Can You Stop During Reverse Parking?

During the reverse parking test in Subject 2 of the driving exam, stopping midway is not allowed. If the vehicle stops for more than 2 seconds during the process, 5 points will be deducted each time. Midway stopping is defined as the vehicle having no displacement change within 2 seconds, which the system will then judge as a stop. Subject 2 includes the following tests: For small vehicles: The test consists of five mandatory items—reverse parking, parallel parking, stopping and starting on a slope, right-angle turns, and curve driving (commonly known as S-turns). Some regions may include a sixth item, such as highway toll card collection. For large vehicles: The test includes stake parking, parallel parking, stopping and starting on a slope, single-plank bridge crossing, curve driving, right-angle turns, limited-width gate passing, continuous obstacle passing, bumpy road driving, narrow road U-turns, as well as simulated highway driving, continuous sharp turns on mountain roads, tunnels, rain (fog) conditions, slippery roads, and emergency handling.
