Can You Still Drive After Losing All 12 Points on Your Driver's License?

You cannot drive after losing all 12 points on your driver's license. According to regulations, if a motor vehicle driver accumulates 12 penalty points within a single scoring cycle, the traffic management department of the public security authority shall confiscate their motor vehicle driver's license. The driver must then report within 15 days to the traffic management department of the public security authority that issued the license or where the violation occurred to undergo a seven-day course on road traffic safety laws, regulations, and related knowledge, followed by an examination. If the examination is passed, the points will be cleared, and the driver's license will be returned. If the examination is failed, the driver must continue with the study and retake the exam. Refusal to participate in the study or examination will result in the traffic management department of the public security authority announcing the suspension of the driver's license.
