Can You Step on the Accelerator While Pressing the Clutch?

You should not step on the accelerator while pressing the clutch. Depressing the clutch cuts off the engine's power transmission, putting the engine in a no-load state. At this point, stepping on the accelerator will cause the engine speed to suddenly increase, and you may even hear the sound of revving, which can easily damage the engine. During driving, the driver can press or release the clutch pedal as needed to temporarily disconnect or gradually reconnect the engine and transmission, thereby cutting off or transmitting the engine's power input to the transmission. The accelerator is located on the throttle lever in the cockpit. When the driver presses the accelerator, it controls the opening of the car's throttle, regulating the engine's power and thus controlling the air intake, which in turn adjusts the engine's output power.
