18-year-olds cannot obtain a B2 driver's license. According to Article 12 of the 'Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses,' the age requirement for applying for urban buses, large trucks, trolleybuses, or tram driving licenses is between 20 and 50 years old. To apply for a B2 driver's license, the following conditions must be met: Applicants must register in their place of household registration; those not in their household registration area can only obtain a C1 driver's license. B2 license applicants must be at least 21 years old. A medical examination is required, with the following criteria: height must be at least 1.55m; uncorrected or corrected visual acuity must reach 5.0 on the logarithmic visual acuity chart; no red-green color blindness; and the ability to distinguish the direction of sound sources with each ear at 50cm from a tuning fork. B2 driver's license permitted vehicle types: The B2 license allows driving heavy and medium-duty trucks or large, heavy, and medium-sized special-purpose vehicles, with most heavy and medium-duty trucks being trucks. Other permitted vehicle types under the B2 license include C1 (small cars), C2 (small automatic transmission cars), C3 (low-speed trucks), C4 (three-wheeled cars), and M (wheeled self-propelled machinery vehicles).
