A2 driver's license holders cannot drive trailers during the probationary period. According to Article 75 of the 'Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses': During the probationary period, motor vehicle drivers are not allowed to drive buses, passenger vehicles for operation, police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, engineering rescue vehicles, or vehicles carrying explosives, flammable and explosive chemicals, highly toxic or radioactive materials, and other hazardous substances; the motor vehicle driven shall not tow a trailer. Below is relevant information about driving during the probationary period: 1. When driving on highways during the probationary period, the driver must be accompanied by someone who has held a driver's license for the corresponding or higher vehicle class for more than three years. 2. Driving a small automatic transmission passenger vehicle specially designed for the disabled may be accompanied by a driver who holds a license for small automatic transmission passenger vehicles or higher. 3. During the probationary period after adding a new vehicle class to the license, driving a motor vehicle of the original licensed class is not subject to the above restrictions.
