Except for large passenger buses and school buses, which cannot undergo annual inspection in another location, all other vehicles can be inspected in a different location. Currently, the traffic management authorities have fully implemented cross-province annual inspections for small cars, trucks, and medium-sized passenger vehicles. Applicants can directly undergo inspection in provinces other than the vehicle's registration location and obtain the inspection qualification mark without needing to apply for an entrusted inspection procedure. Large passenger buses and school buses cannot be inspected in another location and must return to the vehicle's registered location for inspection. Annual inspection time requirements: Small and micro non-operational passenger vehicles are exempt from inspection for the first 6 years. After 6 years but less than 10 years, they must be inspected every two years; after 10 years but less than 15 years, they must be inspected annually; after 15 years, they must be inspected every 6 months. Operational passenger vehicles must be inspected annually within the first 5 years; after 5 years, they must be inspected every 6 months. Trucks and large and medium-sized non-operational passenger vehicles must be inspected annually within the first 10 years; after 10 years, they must be inspected every 6 months. Imported vehicles, like other vehicle types, can undergo regular inspection at any inspection site. Annual inspection precautions: Vehicles that fail the annual inspection must be repaired within a specified time limit. If they still fail after the deadline, the vehicle management office will confiscate their license plates and prohibit further driving. Vehicles that do not participate in the annual inspection without reason or fail the inspection are not allowed to drive on the road or transfer registration. Vehicles that meet the scrapping conditions or have exceeded the prescribed service life will not be inspected, and their license plates will be revoked, their records deleted, and they will be scrapped.

At what speed should I shift to 5th gear?

Fifth gear is used for high-speed driving, generally above 60 mph. Here is some information about gear shifting: 1. Introduction: Gear shifting (changing gears) refers to the transmission, which is used to change the torque and speed of the engine crankshaft to meet the different requirements of driving wheel traction and speed when starting, accelerating, driving, and overcoming various road obstacles. 2. Function: It allows the car to drive at a very low and stable speed, which is difficult to achieve with the minimum stable speed of the internal combustion engine alone; the reverse gear of the transmission allows the car to move backward; the neutral gear allows the engine to be separated from the transmission system for a long time when starting the engine, parking, or coasting.

Is it troublesome to register a car in a different location?

Registering a car in a different location is not troublesome. Here are the specific inconveniences of having an out-of-town license plate: 1. Lost license plate: If the vehicle registration certificate or license plate is lost, it can only be reissued at the vehicle's registered location. Vehicles without a license plate are not allowed on the road, and driving without one may result in penalties such as a 12-point deduction. Therefore, you must promptly go to the vehicle's registered location to reissue it. 2. Annual inspection: Although policies support out-of-town annual inspections, the procedures, required documents, and rules vary from place to place. 3. Traffic restrictions: Large cities with high populations impose travel restrictions on vehicles with out-of-town license plates. For example, in Beijing, vehicles with out-of-town license plates cannot enter within the 5th Ring Road during rush hours, and in Tianjin, out-of-town vehicles are not allowed to enter the inner ring.
