Vehicle annual inspection can be done on weekends. According to Article 15 of the "Opinions on Strengthening and Improving Motor Vehicle Inspection Work": Inspection institutions should implement an uninterrupted system on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, providing extended inspection services. Contents of the annual inspection: Check whether the engine, chassis, body, and their auxiliary equipment are clean, complete, and effective; whether the paint surface is uniform and aesthetically pleasing; whether the main assemblies have been replaced; and whether they match the initial inspection records. Inspect whether the vehicle's braking performance, steering control, lights, exhaust, and other safety performance meet the requirements of the "Technical Conditions for Safe Operation of Motor Vehicles." Check whether the vehicle has been modified, remodeled, or altered; whether the driving license, license plate, and all vehicle file registrations match the actual condition of the vehicle; whether there are any changes; and whether approval and modification procedures have been completed. Check whether the license plate, driving license, and enlarged license plate markings on the vehicle are damaged, altered, or illegible, and whether they need to be replaced. For large vehicles, check whether the unit name or the name of the street, township, or town where the vehicle is located and the maximum seating capacity in the driver's compartment are spray-painted in Chinese imitation Song font on both sides of the door as required. For trucks, check whether the rear tailgate (including the rear tailgate of the trailer) is spray-painted with the vehicle number enlarged 2~3 times as required; for individual or joint-operation vehicles, check whether the word "individual" is spray-painted on both sides of the door. The writing must be clear, and unit codes or other patterns are not allowed (special cases require approval from the vehicle management office).

As someone who frequently helps friends with car-related matters, I know whether weekend vehicle inspections are available depends on the specific region. When I lived in Beijing, I found authorized inspection stations like the Zhongguancun Vehicle Management Center were open on weekends, which was super convenient for office workers to avoid taking time off during weekdays. But you need to make an appointment online or by phone in advance to avoid a wasted trip. There might be a crowd on weekends, so I recommend going early in the morning to queue up, and bringing your vehicle license, insurance policy, and photocopies of your ID. If your car has any unresolved traffic violations, remember to settle them first, otherwise, you won't pass the inspection. I also suggest checking the tires, lights, etc., before the inspection to save time by passing in one go. Overall, modern city services are becoming more considerate, but remote areas might still only offer inspections from Monday to Friday.

What is the appropriate temperature range for the X-TRAIL coolant gauge?

X-TRAIL coolant gauge should maintain around 90℃ under normal conditions, which typically indicates stable cruising speed. Here are relevant details:1、X-TRAIL: The Nissan X-TRAIL is a highly classic SUV model initially launched in Japan in late 2000.2、Coolant temperature indicators: The low-temperature zone LED illuminates only in the lower section of the instrument cluster, indicating cold engine status. Avoid high RPM, full throttle operation, or heavy engine loads during this phase. In normal operating range, when LEDs reach the middle section of the dial, it signifies optimal engine temperature. Activation of the red warning light on the instrument panel indicates excessive coolant temperature.

What are the key points to note when transferring a car title?

When transferring a car title, the following points should be noted: 1. Check for traffic violations: When handling a used car title transfer personally, it is essential to thoroughly check the vehicle's violation records. Verify if there are any outstanding traffic violations and ensure the compulsory traffic insurance is still valid. Only vehicles with valid compulsory insurance and no pending violation records can proceed with the transfer. 2. Verify payment status: Before initiating the title transfer process for a used car, always verify the original vehicle's purchase tax payment status. The purchase tax represents a significant expense, and some vehicles may not have paid this tax initially, requiring payment during the transfer. Confirming the purchase tax payment status beforehand can help avoid this additional and unnecessary cost. 3. Determine specific fees: During the transfer process, various fees such as transfer fees or refunds may arise. Both parties must agree in advance on who will cover these expenses. Additionally, both parties should be present when handling the transfer procedures and insurance cancellations to prevent disputes.

What are the techniques for turning while driving?

Here are the techniques for turning while driving: 1. Follow the outside-inside-outside principle for steering: If you want to pass through a curve quickly and avoid generating excessive centrifugal force during the turn, you must make full use of the road width and try to turn in a large arc to make it as close to a straight line as possible. 2. For uphill curves, first release the throttle and downshift: Then quickly accelerate out of the uphill curve. Before entering the curve, release the throttle to allow the vehicle to enter the curve at a faster speed along the outside of the curve, then downshift one or two gears, select the appropriate path and correct the direction, while lightly pressing the throttle.

How to Quickly Remove Odors from a Car?

Here is an introduction on how to quickly remove odors from a car: 1. Sun exposure: Accelerates the volatilization of substances like formaldehyde and toluene inside the car. Formaldehyde begins to volatilize at 19°C. In winter, formaldehyde levels are not too high. However, in summer, even cars used for 2-3 years can have formaldehyde levels three to four times above the standard. Therefore, even after 2-3 years of use, do not forget that formaldehyde still exists. Try to ventilate more and expose the car to sunlight as much as possible. Leave a small window gap whenever possible. 2. Photocatalyst or ozone-based methods: Photocatalyst sounds good in theory but has limited practical effects. It requires strong light, specifically strong ultraviolet light, to have some effect. Ozone-based methods involve using ozone generators to deal with formaldehyde, toluene, etc., inside the car. If the ozone concentration is high, it may have some effect.

What is the difference between single solid line and double solid line?

The difference between double solid line and single solid line is that single solid line indicates there is only one lane in the same direction; double solid line indicates there are two or more lanes in the same direction. Here is some extended information: 1. White solid line: The white solid line also separates traffic in the same direction, but lane changing is not allowed. Yellow solid line separates traffic in opposite directions, and sometimes separates traffic in the same direction. It can serve as both a boundary line and a center line, and lane changing is not allowed. 2. Yellow dashed line: The yellow dashed line can serve as both a boundary line and a center line. When used as a boundary line, lane changing is allowed. 3. White dashed line: The white dashed line is used as a lane divider to separate traffic flow in the same direction, marked on the lane dividing line for traffic moving in the same direction. Vehicles are allowed to change lanes by crossing the line when it is safe to do so.

Will points be deducted if the driver's license expires?

An expired driver's license cannot be used for point deduction. Here are the solutions for an expired driver's license: 1. Required documents for renewal: Original and photocopy of ID card, original driver's license, 3 recent 1-inch color photos with white background, application form for motor vehicle driver's license. Medical examination certificate (issued by a medical institution at or above the county level or military regiment level or the vehicle management office's medical examination point). If you are not a local resident, you also need to provide the original and photocopy of the local residence permit. 2. Consequences: If you keep delaying, and the driver's license expires for more than three years or longer, the driver's license will be forcibly canceled. At this time, you can only register for a driving school again and retake the test to obtain a driver's license.
