Can Used Cars Be Transferred on Weekends?

Transfer procedures cannot be processed on weekends. Saturdays and Sundays are not national statutory holidays but are public rest days, which are considered off-duty periods. To transfer the ownership of a motor vehicle, you must visit the vehicle management office or the traffic management department of the public security authority from Monday to Friday. Used Car Transfer Time: If you go to the vehicle management office or the traffic management department of the public security authority in the morning, the process can be completed within one working day. For used car transfer procedures, the vehicle must be present, and you need to bring the vehicle's license, compulsory traffic insurance policy, vehicle registration certificate, used car sales contract, and both owners must be present to complete the process. Re-selecting License Plates: Used car transfers require re-selecting license plates. During the transfer process, the vehicle's license and license plates will be reclaimed by the vehicle management office or the traffic management department of the public security authority. Once new plates are selected, a new vehicle license and license plates will be issued.
