The validity period of a temporary license plate generally does not exceed thirty days. The use of temporary license plates is time-limited and region-specific. There are four types of temporary license plates: temporary license plates for administrative jurisdictions, temporary license plates for cross-administrative jurisdictions, temporary license plates for testing purposes, and temporary license plates for special-type motor vehicles. Temporary license plates have a certain time limit. If removed before this limit is reached, they can still be used temporarily. When the validity period of the temporary license plate expires, the relevant authorities will reclaim the temporary license plate and require the owner to destroy it properly.
