For individuals applying for C1, C2, or C5 driver's licenses, the Subject 4 test can be taken in a different location. Since June 2019, the Ministry of Public Security has implemented a policy allowing the Subject 4 test to be taken in a different location under the 'National Unified Examination' framework. If you initially enrolled in a driving school in your hometown and have passed some tests but need to change your residence due to work, study, or other personal reasons, you can apply to change the test location. More information about the driver's license test is as follows: 1. To apply for taking Subject 4 in a different location, simply bring your ID card to the local vehicle management office at your current residence to complete the test location change procedure. There is no need to return to the original test location or submit additional documents such as a residence permit or temporary residence permit. 2. You only have one opportunity to change the test location. After the change, all remaining tests and the license issuance must be completed in the new city. The scores of the tests you have already passed remain valid, and you can schedule the remaining tests at your current residence. Once all tests are passed, you can receive your driver's license in the city of your current residence.

Subject 4 can indeed be taken in a different location, which is a great policy, and I've personally experienced it. Last year, I completed Subject 1 and Subject 2 in my hometown, but then I was transferred to another city for work. I went directly to the local DMV to apply for a transfer. I brought my ID card, proof of residence, and materials from my original driving school, and the staff quickly processed the paperwork. I scheduled the Subject 4 exam, and although I had to wait a few days, I passed smoothly. The biggest advantage of taking the exam in a different location is saving time—no need to travel back and forth—which is especially suitable for people like us who frequently move or travel for work. However, it's important to note that there might be slight differences in each city, such as varying requirements for file transfers. Checking the steps on the DMV's official website in advance can save you from delays. After passing the driving test, the license is conveniently mailed directly to your new address. Overall, this design is quite user-friendly, but don’t wait until the last minute—plan ahead.

The subject four (road safety knowledge) exam can now be taken in a different location, as the current policy is much more open than before. Many of my friends have tried it - as long as you complete the transfer procedures at the original test site and submit your ID and documents at the new city's vehicle management office, they can arrange the exam for you. The whole process is quite straightforward. My younger brother took the subject four exam while working in another city without spending extra time. The advantage of taking the exam in a different location is obvious - it reduces travel fatigue and is particularly useful for young people or those who move frequently. One thing to note is that the appointment systems for test sites vary between cities, and some places may have long queues due to high demand, so it's better to check the local official website in advance. After passing the driving test, you can directly collect your license at the new location, which is convenient. This people-friendly measure is promoted by the national policy and worth trying, but make sure all your documents are complete to avoid any omissions.

What Causes the Loud Clunk Sound When Shifting Gears in a Forklift?

The reasons for the loud clunk sound when shifting gears in a forklift are as follows: Shifting Gear Before Applying the Handbrake: When parking on a slope, the P gear is engaged before applying the handbrake. The vehicle was not completely stationary when shifting gears. This operation can significantly shorten the lifespan of the transmission. When the P gear is engaged, a pawl inside the transmission locks the output shaft to prevent the vehicle from moving. In this scenario, the vehicle may slide slightly on the slope, causing the P gear to bear the load, with the entire weight of the vehicle resting on the P gear. Transmission Issues: Such as a loose drive shaft, worn differential, worn output shaft inside the transmission, worn transmission gears, or malfunctioning shift mechanism, etc.

What Are the Levels of Assisted Driving?

Assisted driving levels include: L1: Driver assistance, relying on adaptive cruise control to free the feet, but hands must remain on the steering wheel, and the driver still needs to control the vehicle. L2: Semi-autonomous driving, but the driver needs to continuously monitor the vehicle's operation. L3: Highly autonomous driving, where the driver does not need to continuously monitor the vehicle (can look at the phone), but in some situations, the driver must intervene as required by the system. L4: Higher-level autonomous driving, where the system automatically controls the vehicle in scenarios like highway driving or entering parking lots, and the driver does not need to monitor the vehicle. L5: The highest level of autonomous driving, fully driverless, where no driver is needed.
