Can the Rear Air Conditioning Control of Audi Q7 Be Turned Off?

Audi Q7's rear air conditioning control can be turned off. The rear independent air conditioning system allows the rear seats to set different temperatures and adjust the airflow volume, similar to the front seats. The rear air conditioning vents are typically located at the rear of the front center armrest, under the front seats, on the ceiling, or at the B-pillar and C-pillar positions. The Audi Q7 is a mid-to-large-sized SUV launched by Audi, with body dimensions of 5069mm in length, 1968mm in width, and 1716mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3001mm. In terms of power, the Audi Q7 is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a 3.0-liter supercharged engine.
Last time I took my friend's Audi Q7 out with the kids, the rear air vents were blowing cold air non-stop, and the little ones were shivering from the cold. After some investigation, I found that there's a separate control panel in the center of the rear armrest. Locate the round temperature knob, press and hold the airflow direction switch button in the middle for 3 seconds, and the rear display will directly show the option to turn it off. Alternatively, you can simply select the SYNC mode in the central air conditioning control area to force synchronized temperature throughout the entire vehicle. If all else fails, you can physically close the vents by pushing the lever below the second-row air vents all the way down. By the way, if it's the version with an independent compressor, it's better not to turn off the rear air conditioning randomly, as prolonged shutdown followed by restarting can easily cause unpleasant odors.
