Can the old annual inspection sticker be removed?

After the vehicle annual inspection sticker expires, it can be removed once the new inspection is completed and the new sticker is issued. However, the compulsory traffic insurance sticker cannot be removed if it hasn't expired yet. When driving on the road, the vehicle must display both the compulsory traffic insurance sticker and the annual inspection sticker. More details are as follows: 1. According to Article 11 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China: When driving a motor vehicle on the road, the vehicle license plate must be displayed, the inspection qualification sticker and insurance sticker must be placed, and the vehicle registration certificate must be carried. 2. Motor vehicle license plates: Must be displayed in accordance with regulations and kept clear and intact, and must not be intentionally obscured or damaged. No unit or individual may confiscate or detain motor vehicle license plates.
When I first got my new vehicle inspection sticker, I was also confused about this issue. The old stickers really should be removed. Traffic authorities require that only the currently valid annual inspection sticker be displayed on the windshield. Those expired old stickers not only obstruct visibility but could also result in penalties from traffic police. When removing them, avoid scratching with fingernails - it's best to use a hairdryer to heat the adhesive side or spray alcohol to moisten the edges before slowly peeling them off. Last week I cleared three layers of old stickers from my car, and the improved visibility was immediately noticeable. Remember to clean any residual adhesive marks after removal - peppermint oil works great for this. I've seen many cars still displaying stickers from seven or eight years ago, covered in dust and seriously compromising driving safety.
