The Nissan Qashqai remote key cannot control the window switches. Using the remote key to control the windows simultaneously operates all four windows, but the Qashqai only features one-touch up/down functionality for the driver's window. To set up one-touch window control, with the vehicle powered on, pull up the driver's side window switch until the window is fully raised and hold for 5-10 seconds to complete the setup. The hidden features of the Qashqai are as follows: 1. One-touch up/down for the driver's window: With the vehicle powered on, pull up the driver's side window switch until the window is fully raised and hold for 5-10 seconds to complete the setup. 2. Auto-lock feature: After entering the vehicle and closing the door, press the power button twice without pressing the brake, then press and hold the lock button for 5-10 seconds until the hazard lights flash, indicating the setup is complete. Repeat the operation to deactivate. 3. Battery discharge protection: After parking and turning off the engine with all doors fully closed, the vehicle will automatically cut off power in ACC mode (playing music or using the car power supply) after 1 hour to prevent excessive battery discharge. 4. Window operation after engine off: Within 30 seconds of turning off the engine without opening the door, the windows can still be operated. 5. Auto-relock: If the doors are not opened within a certain time after unlocking with the remote key, the vehicle will automatically relock.

I often drive a Qashqai, and the remote key can control the window switches. Just hold down the unlock button to lower all the windows, and holding down the lock button will raise the windows. This is super practical in summer when parking, as it allows for pre-cooling. However, note that this feature might only be available in certain models or years—I’ve personally tested that cars from 2018 onwards support it. If there’s no response, check if the remote battery has enough power or enable the option in the central control settings. On rainy days when you forget to close the windows, this feature can quickly protect the interior, which is really hassle-free. When operating, stay within a few meters of the car to avoid weak signal failure. The manual has detailed steps, and I always follow them to test it out.

Can You Still Drive with an Electronic Parking Brake Malfunction?

If your car experiences an electronic parking brake malfunction, you should not continue driving as it may lead to vehicle rollaway and cause traffic accidents. Solutions for electronic parking brake malfunction: Reset the electronic parking brake by turning on the car key, pressing the foot brake, then holding down the electronic parking brake for 5 seconds followed by pulling it up for another 5 seconds. This will complete the initialization and reset of the electronic parking brake. Do electronic eyes capture turn signals?

Current electronic eyes do not have the capability to capture turn signals yet, but it is still important to consciously comply with traffic rules for the benefit of both others and oneself. Information about turn signals is as follows: Function of turn signals: Turn signals are the primary devices that indicate a vehicle's dynamic information. Installed at the front and rear of the vehicle, they are activated when the vehicle turns, providing safety for driving. Please use turn signals as required to inform others of the vehicle's movement in advance, allowing them to make correct judgments. Working principle of turn signals: Turn signals are important indicator lights that are activated when a motor vehicle turns to alert vehicles and pedestrians around. The turn signal tubes use xenon tubes, controlled by a single-chip microcomputer circuit, working alternately left and right with continuous flashing. Turn signals use flashers to achieve light blinking, which can be mainly divided into three types: resistance wire type, capacitor type, and electronic type.

Should the battery be replaced at 11 volts?

It has little to do with voltage. Check the internal resistance of the battery. If it is greater than 8 milliohms, it basically needs to be replaced. The service life of a car battery is about 3 years. Of course, this is not absolute. The lifespan of the battery is closely related to the maintenance and usage habits of the vehicle. You can use the following methods to determine whether it should be replaced: Check the appearance of the battery: If you notice obvious swelling, deformation, or bulging on both sides of the car battery, or if you observe some white or green powdery substances on the battery terminals, these are oxides from the battery. If these phenomena occur, it means there is a problem with the battery, and it may need to be replaced soon. Power observation port: Most car batteries nowadays have an observation hole, also called a "magic eye." The color of the magic eye may vary depending on the manufacturer, but white usually indicates that the battery needs to be replaced. Measure the battery voltage: Generally, you can use a battery tester or a multimeter to measure the battery voltage to determine whether it needs to be replaced. Normally, the no-load voltage of the battery should not be too low. If it is below 9V, it may cause difficulty or failure in starting the car.

Do Electronic Eyes Capture Motorcycle Violations?

Electronic eyes do capture motorcycle violations. According to the current "Traffic Law", running a red light on a motorcycle is treated the same as doing so in a car. Relevant information about electronic eyes is as follows: Electronic Eyes: Also known as "electronic police", they are commonly referred to as the "Intelligent Traffic Violation Monitoring and Shooting Management System". After successful development in Shenzhen in 1997, they began to be gradually promoted and used. Electronic eyes utilize various technologies such as vehicle detection, photoelectric imaging, automatic control, network communication, and computers to monitor violations such as running red lights, driving in the wrong direction, speeding, crossing lines, and illegal parking around the clock. They capture graphic and textual information of vehicle violations and process them afterwards based on the violation information. Shooting Range: A camera usually captures only one lane, with a few capable of capturing two lanes, typically set on the first and second lanes from the left. Digital cameras have a wider shooting range, so most can capture all lanes in the same direction within urban areas.

Which Line Should You Stop On for Fixed-Point Parking?

When performing fixed-point parking, the optimal stopping position is the middle one of the three white lines. Relevant details are as follows: Assessment Objective: The slope fixed-point parking and starting is an evaluation point in the Driver's License Subject 2 test. It assesses the driver's ability to operate the vehicle on an uphill section, correctly park the vehicle at a designated spot by the roadside, and accurately use the gear, throttle, and clutch for a smooth start. Parking Technique: To position correctly, you can use the cross-section of the frontmost part of the engine hood and a reference pole as your fixed point. As you approach the stop line, press the clutch slightly more to slow down further; if the force is insufficient, release it slightly. Meanwhile, keep your right foot on the brake pedal, focus your eyes on the stop line, and once you reach it, firmly press the brake and clutch to stop. Then, firmly pull up the handbrake.
