When transferring a vehicle, the license plate cannot be transferred along with it. After completing the transfer procedures, the vehicle management office will take back the license plate. 1. Apply to retain the license plate: If the original owner has used the vehicle for more than 3 years, they can apply to retain the license plate for 6 months when transferring the vehicle. During this period, the original owner can purchase a new vehicle and apply to use the previous license plate number. 2. Transfer process: When the ownership of a registered motor vehicle is transferred, the new owner must apply for a transfer registration at the local vehicle management office within 30 days from the date of delivery. 3. Used car license plates: The license plate number cannot be transferred with a used car either. Only when the original owner applies for new vehicle registration can they request to use the original license plate number at the vehicle management office.

Is engine oil not changed during the first maintenance?

First maintenance requires changing the engine oil. The items covered in the first maintenance are quite simple, mainly including replacing the engine oil and oil filter, along with some routine vehicle inspections such as checking the wear on tires and brake pads, the levels of various fluids in the engine compartment, the level of coolant, lifting the vehicle to inspect the chassis for any signs of impact, and checking if the chassis brackets and tie rods are deformed. The primary purpose of changing the engine oil is to ensure the engine operates more efficiently. During the break-in period, the engine may generate some impurities internally, hence the need to replace the oil and oil filter to better lubricate the various components inside the engine.
