Jiaji New Energy can be refueled with gasoline. Fuel grade: All models of Jiaji New Energy require at least 92-octane gasoline. You may choose to use higher-octane fuel, but it is not recommended to use lower-octane fuel. Using lower-octane fuel may cause premature combustion, leading to engine knocking. Additionally, incomplete combustion can result in increased carbon deposits, potentially clogging the conduits and injectors, and causing reduced vehicle power and increased fuel consumption. Fuel consumption: The Geely Jiaji New Energy is a plug-in hybrid vehicle. The manual transmission 1.5t model has a fuel consumption of 7.8 liters per 100 kilometers, while the automatic transmission model consumes 8.1 liters per 100 kilometers. The 1.8t model consumes 8.8 liters per 100 kilometers.
I've driven the Jiaji New Energy several times. As a plug-in hybrid model, its design incorporating both a battery and a fuel tank is indeed practical. For daily commutes, I mainly use the pure electric mode - charging once allows me to drive dozens of kilometers, which is extremely economical. When taking family trips on weekends for long distances, I switch to hybrid mode, simply filling up with 92-octane gasoline at gas stations to instantly add several hundred kilometers of range. The fuel filler door is conveniently located on the right side of the vehicle, operating just as easily as traditional fuel-powered cars. I remember the salesperson specifically reminding me during delivery that prolonged disuse of the fuel system could harm the engine, so I intentionally take monthly highway trips to keep the fuel system active. Using electricity for city driving and fuel for long distances offers remarkable flexibility.
