Can the in-car dash cam hear sounds inside the vehicle?

In-car dash cams can hear sounds inside the vehicle, provided that the recording function is turned on. Dash cams typically feature an external camera primarily designed to record driving conditions outside the vehicle, but they can also capture sounds inside the car, though they cannot record images of the interior. There are two wiring methods for dash cams as follows: 1. Connecting to the cigarette lighter: This method is simple but somewhat affects aesthetics and occupies a cigarette lighter port. Normally, the cigarette lighter is connected to the ACC, meaning it only has power when the ignition is on. Therefore, dash cams connected to the cigarette lighter cannot provide 24-hour parking surveillance. 2. Connecting to the fuse box: This allows direct connection to the car battery, enabling 24-hour parking surveillance. However, the drawback of connecting to the fuse box is that it is more complicated and usually requires professional installation. The advantage is that there are no exposed wires, resulting in a cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
