Geely GL can still start if the key fob battery is dead. Place the remote key against the one-touch start button, then press the one-touch start button. Active working method: The principle is to control the doors through the vehicle's electronic control unit (ECU) and body control module (BCM). Simply press the key button to send an unlock/lock command, which will be verified by the vehicle's electronic module to open/close the doors. Inductive working method: Primarily involves placing an encrypted chip inside the key. During the unlocking process, the vehicle's radio frequency transceiver verifies whether the key matches to determine if the engine can be started. This is mainly used in special situations where the key has no battery, allowing the car to still start normally. Passive working method: When the owner enters the sensing area of the key system, as long as the hand touches the door handle, the carried identification key will receive a low-frequency signal sent by the car. If this signal matches the identification information stored in the key, the key will be awakened.
