Can the EV mode be kept on all the time?

EV mode can be kept on all the time. EV mode refers to pure electric driving. New energy vehicles have three major advantages: environmental protection, energy saving, and simplicity, which are particularly evident in pure electric vehicles. They use electric motors to replace internal combustion engines, driven by motors without the need for automatic transmissions. Traditional internal combustion engines can only efficiently generate torque within a narrow range of speeds, which is why conventional internal combustion engine vehicles require large and complex transmission mechanisms. Electric motors can efficiently generate torque over a wide range of speeds, eliminating the need for gear shifting devices during the operation of pure electric vehicles, making them easy to operate and with low noise.
I've been driving a hybrid vehicle for several years and frequently use EV mode for my daily commute. During traffic jams or low-speed driving, pure electric operation is exceptionally quiet and smooth, saving fuel and being environmentally friendly. However, I don't recommend keeping EV mode on all the time because the battery capacity is limited. Prolonged use can deplete the battery, forcing the engine to start, which might actually increase fuel consumption. Especially during highway driving or uphill climbs, when there's a greater demand for acceleration, the hybrid system will automatically engage. Long-term exclusive use of electric power may be detrimental to the battery, such as accelerating aging. I suggest flexibly switching between modes based on road conditions: use EV mode for low-speed urban driving and hybrid mode for highways to maintain optimal efficiency. This approach enhances the driving experience and can also extend the vehicle's lifespan.
