Screwdriver, 10mm short-handle socket, 12mm short-handle socket. Loosen the 4 white screws and remove 1 black fixing screw. With the sensor connector facing upwards, move it 1.5-2mm to the left. Ensure the sensor cover does not move excessively up and down, then tighten the 4 white screws. Then secure the black positioning screw. After installation, first connect the sensor connector. Start the engine and ensure the idle speed remains unchanged from before the adjustment. Then tighten the 2 throttle pedal screws and 1 nut.

What does SVS on the car dashboard represent?

SVS on the car dashboard indicates that the engine control unit has detected an error signal from a certain sensor or that it has exceeded the usage standard. The reasons for its appearance are: 1. Fuel emission system malfunction; 2. Intake tract malfunction; 3. Spark plug carbon buildup; 4. Sensor malfunction; 5. Poor fuel quality; 6. Engine carbon buildup; 7. Three-way catalytic converter malfunction; 8. Engine knocking. The solutions for SVS appearing on the car dashboard are: 1. Check if the oxygen sensor plug is loose; 2. Clean the spark plugs; 3. Replace the oxygen sensor; 4. Replace the three-way catalytic converter; 5. Clean the engine; 6. Drain the old gasoline from the fuel tank and replace it with high-quality gasoline.

What does the speed alarm prompt mean?

Prompt speed alarm means: when the vehicle speed exceeds the limited speed, an alarm will appear. Pre-departure inspection: Before departure every day, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle, including checking for oil or water leaks, measuring tire pressure to see if it is appropriate, inspecting the engine oil condition to ensure its color is normal and the oil level is suitable. Safe driving: Use seat belts correctly. In the event of a severe collision, seat belts provide protection no less than airbags. Avoid fatigue driving and take a break every 2 hours. Comply with traffic rules: Especially on highways, do not speed. Speeding not only risks traffic police penalties but more importantly, it is unsafe.

How to Remove the Volkswagen Steering Wheel Airbag?

Airbag components consist of an inflator and the airbag itself, both installed inside the steering wheel or the upper part of the toolbox and are non-disassemblable. The inflator is composed of an electric detonator, ignition powder, and a gas-generating agent, functioning to inflate the airbag. The airbag is made of nylon fabric with a resin-coated inner surface. The method for removing the Volkswagen steering wheel airbag is as follows: 1. The steering wheel airbag is located in the center of the steering wheel. 2. First, remove the rear casing. 3. Then, the airbag component can be taken out. Continue by unscrewing the central screw. 4. Remove the steering wheel, paying attention to align the position correctly. 5. Finally, detach the steering wheel airbag.

Is Turning the Steering Wheel to Full Lock While Reversing Harmful to the Car?

Turning the steering wheel to full lock while reversing can cause three types of damage to the car: 1. Damage to the clutch plate: The engine delivers power to the front wheels. When the steering wheel is turned to full lock, the engine needs to output significantly more power to drive the vehicle. If the vehicle is in the starting phase while the steering is at full lock, the clutch cannot fully engage, leading to potential damage. 2. Shortened lifespan of the universal joint: When the steering is at full lock, the universal joint is subjected to greater stress. Since universal joints have a limited lifespan, this stress can reduce their longevity. 3. Damage to the power steering system: Continuously holding the steering wheel at full lock causes the hydraulic fluid passing through the power pump to heat up rapidly, placing the pump under high load. This can potentially damage the power steering system.

Will Forcefully Closing the Hood Cause Damage?

Forcefully closing the hood can cause damage. Damage caused by forcefully closing the hood: When closing the car hood, applying excessive force can easily deform the hood and affect the normal operation of various components underneath. In some cases, it may also impact the vehicle's sound insulation. Therefore, it is important to avoid using too much force when closing the hood. Functions of the car hood: While driving, the car hood helps cut through air resistance caused by the vehicle's design, reducing the impact of drag on driving. It also contributes to driving stability. Beneath the hood, there are numerous components, and the hood provides protection, preventing dust and debris from entering the engine compartment and disrupting the normal operation of these parts.
