Can the Driving License Subject 4 Test Be Taken in Another City?

For applicants of C1, C2, and C5 driving licenses, the Subject 4 test can be taken in a different location. Since June 2019, the Ministry of Public Security has implemented a policy allowing the separate subject tests for small vehicle driving licenses to be taken in different cities, based on the "National Unified Examination" system. Test Location Change: Due to personal reasons such as work or study that require a change of residence, applicants can request to change the test location. To apply for taking Subject 4 in another city, simply bring your ID card to the local vehicle management office at your current residence to complete the test location change procedure. There is no need to return to the original test location, nor is it required to submit additional documents such as a residence permit or temporary residence permit. After the Change: You only have one chance to change the test location. After the change, all remaining subject tests and the license collection must be completed in the new city. The scores of the subjects already passed remain valid after the test location change. Applicants can schedule the remaining subject tests at their current residence. Once all subject tests are passed, the driving license can be collected in the current city of residence.
