Can the Clutch and Accelerator Be Pressed Simultaneously?
1 Answers
Throttle and clutch should not be pressed at the same time, for the following reasons: 1. Pressing both simultaneously is ineffective, as engaging the clutch is equivalent to being in neutral gear - no matter how much you press the accelerator, it won't have any effect and will only waste fuel. 2. Correct operation: When shifting gears, press the clutch and release the accelerator. Then shift to the appropriate gear, release the clutch to the semi-engagement point, hold briefly, and gradually release while pressing the accelerator. 3. Clutch: During driving, the driver can press or release the clutch pedal as needed to temporarily separate or gradually engage the engine and transmission, thereby cutting off or transmitting the engine's power to the gearbox.
