Temporary license plates can be used on highways. As long as they are within the validity period, they allow driving in all areas. However, relevant documents such as invoices, certificates of conformity, and proof of insurance purchase must be carried. Temporary license plates are paper motor vehicle license plates that permit temporary road use of a motor vehicle, also known as temporary driving license plates. They are temporary vehicle driving permits issued by the vehicle management department of the public security authorities for newly purchased vehicles before official registration. The use and regulation of temporary license plates are the same as those of regular license plates. It is not the case that temporary license plates are exempt from penalties. If temporary license plates are not displayed correctly, expired temporary license plates are used, or any traffic law is violated, fines and penalties will still be imposed.

Last time when I accompanied my friend to pick up the new car, the salesperson specifically reminded us that there are two types of temporary license plates: the blue background with black characters can only be used within the city, while the yellow background with black characters is required for highway driving. Remember to apply for the cross-district temporary license plate, which is valid for about 15 to 30 days. We drove on the highway with this type of temporary plate, covering over 600 kilometers, and had no issues when checked by traffic police along the way. The key is to affix the temporary plates on the lower right corner of the front windshield and the lower left corner of the rear windshield, with the numbers clearly visible. However, be careful not to exceed the validity period. My neighbor was checked two days after expiration last year, resulting in 12 points deducted and a fine of 200 yuan, which was really not worth it.

What are the reasons for the power steering failure in BMW 3 Series?

Here are the specific reasons for the power steering failure in BMW 3 Series: 1. Dirty power steering fluid: The power steering fluid acts as a force transmission medium. If the fluid is dirty, it can cause poor circulation, making steering difficult. In severe cases, the power steering pump may also produce abnormal noises. 2. Insufficient or leaking power steering fluid: Insufficient power steering fluid means reduced power assistance. Check the related systems for any signs of fluid leakage. Focus on inspecting the power steering fluid reservoir, power steering hoses, and steering gear. 3. Loose or overly tight power steering belt: Alternatively, the belt may be worn out. The tension can be adjusted, but a worn-out belt must be replaced.

What is the oil filling standard for a hydraulic coupling?

The oil filling amount for a hydraulic coupling is 70%-80%. Below are the precautions for using a hydraulic coupling: 1. Avoid rapid and frequent forward and reverse rotation: In theory, the coupling can rotate both forward and reverse, but rapid forward and reverse rotation can cause excessive inertia and damage the coupling's connecting parts. Therefore, strictly follow the operating procedures to avoid rapid and frequent forward and reverse rotation, especially when using the coupling on tower cranes and bridge crane hosts. 2. Same rotation direction: The rotation direction of the coupling's output shaft is the same as that of the motor shaft. During the initial test run, check whether the motor's rotation direction meets the requirements.

How to Use the Clutch in a Manual Transmission?

Manual transmission uses the clutch in the following ways: 1. Starting: Quickly lift the clutch pedal until reaching the semi-engagement point, then slow down the lifting speed; 2. Gear shifting: Operate the clutch pedal by quickly pressing down and lifting, paying attention to coordination with the throttle; 3. Posture: Place the sole of the left foot on the clutch with the heel touching the floor, and adjust the seat so that the clutch can be fully depressed with the foot slightly bent. Precautions for using the clutch in a manual transmission include: 1. Avoid pressing the clutch for extended periods or resting the foot on the pedal to prevent premature wear of the release bearing; 2. Do not press the clutch first during emergency braking to avoid losing engine braking.

What Gear Should You Use When Driving a Manual Transmission Car Downhill?

Manual transmission downhill gear selection depends on specific conditions: 1. For general slopes, use 2nd gear; 2. For steep slopes exceeding 30 degrees, use 3rd gear; 3. When ascending/descending elevated roads, use 4th or 5th gear. The method for starting a manual transmission car downhill is: 1. Depress clutch and brake, shift gear lever to neutral; 2. Depress clutch and brake, turn key right to first position for vehicle self-check; 3. Turn key right to ignite; 4. After engine starts, engage 1st gear; 5. Slowly release clutch and brake, when noticeable vehicle vibration occurs, slightly release brake to start. Precautions for manual transmission downhill driving: 1. Never coast in neutral; 2. Avoid unnecessary clutch depression; 3. Do not make sudden steering wheel movements.
